* Prior to Defender Packs being introduced in the Power of the Ancient expansion (3.0), most non-exclusive accessories from the standard garbs were unlocked through hero-specific lockboxes (which are dropped randomly from enemies or victory chest) by a lockbox key (which cost 500 defender medals each) or spending 150 gems.
* Some accessories may seem to be an enhanced version of certain accessories. That's due to the original intention being these "upgraded" accessories are unlocked after earning a specific amount of XP while using the original accessory. After around The Harbinger Awakens update (Early Access 29.0), the idea was dropped as many players weren't a big fan of that system and the enhanced accessories now instead unlocks the same way as their originals. Most non-exclusive accessories that are Epic or Mythical are the "original" accessories.
