The following things will happen each time you do a reset:
* You will receive 1 point to spend in an any of the 14 Ancient Power of your choicePowers.
* You will receive a random Prestigious weapon. Its unique mod will have a minimum quality of 5/10.
* Your gold and EXP bonus will be raised increased by 5% (stacks with each reset).* Your ascension talent caps that affect health and damage will be increased up to a maximum of as indicated in the Powers menu. They can reach 999 for talents that originally capped at 140 (eg. The Hero Health talent cap will be raised, but Hero Crit Chance will not).* All items in your store will be placed into shop return to your inventory, bags or the scavenger if your inventory is they are full.* The minimum onslaught floor you can start on will increaseeach time you reset.* The minimum floor you have to clear for so you can reset again may also increase.* Your ascension level will reset to level as indicated in the Powers menu.* All of your next armor, weapons, and relics both equipped and in your bags and vaults will be devolved back to campaign level.* All of your ungilded shards and hyper shards both equipped and in your bags and vaults will be reset back to level 1.* Since your gear score will be reduced to campaign level, all ([[Expeditions]], [[Incursions]], and [[Mastery]]) will become locked until you meet the conditions to unlock them again.* Your ascension level will increasebe reset down to the minimum ascension level, as indicated in the Powers menu.* Prestigious weapons that are granted every 10th onslaught floor that you already received can be earned again* [[Mananode Gifts]] you already received in onslaught can be earned again* Defender packs from previously cleared onslaught floors can be earned again
All progress related to equipment, ascension, and access to game modes will be lostThe following things '''are not''' affected during a reset:
* All of your equipment (armorArmor, weaponsWeapons, relics), '''excluding''' ringsRelics, and ring M.O.D.S. levels. However they will be set down devolve back to campaign Campaign level.* All upgrades in The reroll % on all of your shards (including Hyper Shards) will be lostarmor, unless the shard is gilded.* All chaos difficulties above Chaos I ([[Expeditions]]weapons, [[Incursions]]relics, and [[Mastery]]) will be locked until you meet the conditions to unlock them again.* Your ascension will be reset down to the minimum ascension level, as indicated in the Powers menuringsThis also means you can earn the following items on floors you've cleared in a previous reset: * Prestigious weapons that are granted every floor that is a multiple of 10* [[Mananode GiftsRings]]* Defender packs The following things '''will not''' be impacted by a reset: * The quality of your items upgrade levels and MODs (perfectly rolled items will stay perfectly rolled)* [[Rings]]Evolve level.* Stars obtained in [[Mastery]]stars earned.* Weapon unlocks at the [[Wayfarer]] (what's weapons already unlocked stays unlocked).* All [[Pets]] (this was changed in the Isle of Dread update on 2018-09-23)Power, Affection, Evolve stage, current stats, and abilities.* Crafting itemsmaterials, pet food.* Currencies Currency count (gold, defender medals, gems, etc.)
* Cosmetics
* Earned but unopened Defender Packs
