Gems are a premium currency in Dungeon Defenders 2. Players start out with 600 gems on their account. They cannot be otherwise obtained without purchasing them with real-life currency in the shop. Gems can be used to purchase Heroes, Shard Packs, cosmetics and other items in the Emporium.
