Overview
Status Effects are special conditions or alterations that can be applied to enemies or players.
These effects can have positive or negative impacts on the affected entities.
Effects
Chilled
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
- Doesn't work on unslowable enemies.
Taunt
Taunt is an effect that makes surrounding enemies agro the player.
- Counts towards controller mods.
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
Confuse
Confuse is similar to taunt but the effect makes surrounding enemies attack one another.
- Counts towards controller mods.
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
Drenched
Drench is an effect that saturates enemies with water, allowing for additional effects when combined with other elements.
- Doesn't slow enemies.
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
Poisoned
Poisoned is an effect that makes enemies vulnerable to earth damage, leading to the petrify.
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
Oiled
Oiled is an effect that applies an oily substance to enemies, making them vulnerable to fire and increasing the damage they take once ignited.
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
- Oil-type defenses deal earth damage.
Knockback
Knockback is an effect that pushes enemies away from the defenses'/player's position.
- Doesn't work against most Minibosses and Bosses.
Knock Up
Knockup is an effect that lifts enemies into the air briefly, disabling their movement.
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
- Knocked up enemies will be targeted by anti-air defenses such as the Sky Guard Tower.
- Doesn't work against flying enemies.
- Has diminishing returns (DR).
- Doesn't work against Minibosses and Bosses.
Stun
Stun is an effect that temporarily immobilizes enemies, rendering them unable to act.
Not to be confused with stuns from elemental combos, stun can be identified with stars around the enemies' heads.
- Counts towards Controlled Burn Mutator.
- Has diminishing returns (DR).
