Gems

Gems are a premium currency in Dungeon Defenders 2. You can obtain 450 Gems by completing certain Adventures and 150 Gems from the Defender Pass.
They can only be obtained by purchasing them with real-life currency in the in-game shop, buying certain DLC's, or Winning them through giveaways.
Gems can be used to purchase Heroes, Shard Packs, cosmetics and other items in the Emporium.

Best Things to Buy With Gems

1. Max Bags Bundle
   • Formula for the cost of the bundle, with b being number of bags owned: 640(8 - b)(0.05b + 0.65)
2. Material Vault - 1,450 gem.
3. Shard Vault - 1,450 gem.
4. Bank Vaults - 640 gem per vault.
5. All Heroes Bundle - 3,600 gem.
6. Defender Pass - 1,500 gem.
7. Player Shop Slots - You have 2 slots by default.
   • Slot 3-8 for 50 gem each.
   • Slot 9-12 for 75 gem each.
   • Slot 13-16 for 90 gem each.
   • 960 gem in total
