A deep-sea denizen of the High Seas, the Sharken is an enemy mainly found within [[Coral Reef Town]]. They have two types of melee attacks and a periodic self-buff ability to temporarily become even stronger. These creatures also has 50% damage resistance by default and cannot be slowed or stunned (but can be knocked-up and knocked-back).
* This attack only has a chance to occur when a Sharken has been aggroed by a nearby hero.

== Miniboss Variant - Sharken Warlord ==
The Sharken Warlord is an Onslaught-exclusive miniboss version of the Sharken. It usually only spawns during the later pulses of a Sharknado lane.
== Strategy ==
It's recommended for a melee hero to be very tanky before engaging with Sharkens as their hammerfists slams can be extremely deadly especially when there's a group of them clumped together.

Sharkens originally appeared in DD1, introduced within Aquanos map as the third new enemy type from the ''Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards'' DLCs storyline. In the first gameOver there, the Sharken is based on a Great White Shark and they have the ability to charge towards a targeted clump of defenses and sweep them out of position.
This makes DD2's iteration a radical departure from their predecessor in both visual (based on a Hammerhead Shark) and ability aspects.
