Overview

Specs are different specializations a Hero can invest in to to increase the effectiveness of different aspects of their abilities and defenses. Each Hero has 6 Spec choices that they can choose to invest in

Unlocked

All Specs are unlocked at level 5, which is also when points are first awarded for spending on Specs. Every Hero level, starting at level 5, awards 2 Spec points that can be allocated into Specs at the Hero Forge. This makes for 42 total Spec points at Hero level 25.

Skill Spheres

Skill Spheres is the name for the Revamped Spec node system. The conceptual details are outlined in Devstream 14. The Skill Spheres will replace the Spec node system in the Patch: Pets & Dragons update on April 28th, 2015.
