Definition
The Defense Council was created by Trendy, it's the title that the players who played through the Pre-Alpha game stage get, it's a group of players who get to play the game early and to have close contact with the game Developers, owning a special forums where only Council Members and Developers can post and read.
Objectives
The Council has 2 main objectives:
- Test the game for bugs and report them, this is essential, basically the council members all act as "beta testers" even though the game is still pre-alpha. This is very important for the game development, with the facility in the communication between council members and developers this bug reports are passed on quite fast.
- Act as a community and give the community's feedback, such as opinions and suggestions, through long debates which the developers read then discuss among them some changes proposed by the council are actually applied, the council has this big power/ability to affect the game's direction. Allowing the developers to have a 2nd Hand on their help with different points, this is what the game development is based on, the community's feedback, making this objective just as important as the first.
Benefits
Working for the council is no light job, so it comes with a few rewards such as game currency, special cosmetics and closer contact with the game developers.
How to get in the Council
There is no longer access to the Defense Council, but might open later on again. However, players who still participate in the Steam Early Access will receive their own form of recognition.
