* There are certain costumes that are obtainable without using premium currency. Those are only through Defender Pack (which will have a certain chance to drop in Onslaught or acquired through premium currency). However, there are 2 that can only be acquired through obtaining codes by social media (liking DD2's Facebook Page and following DD2's Twitter page).
* And there are certain costumes which that is alternatively available through certain DLCs too.

Costumes that are thematic may denote an event and/or a fashion collection. There are different themes available for the current heroes though certain . However, not all themes currently do not have costumes available for certain all heroes.
