Gems are a premium currency in Dungeon Defenders 2. You can obtain 450 [[Gems]] by completing certain [[Adventures|Adventures]] and 150 [[Gems]] from the [[Defender Pass]]. <br>
They can only be obtained by purchasing them with [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Currency real-life currency] in the in-game shop, buying certain DLC's, or Winning them through giveaways. <br> Gems can be used to purchase [[Heroes]], [[Shards|Shard Packs]], [[costumes|cosmetics]] and other items in the [[Emporium]].
