The Frost Armor is a legendary costume for The Dryad. It's purchasable for 800 gems from the Seamstress or in the cosmetic interface.

What this costume contains

The Frost Armor contains 9 accessories: 4 changeable Head pieces, 2 changeable pieces each for Torso & Legs sections and a non-changeable wing piece - all accessories are available to use as soon as the costume is purchased. A unique card art is also provided for your hero deck as well. In addition to all those, the Frost Armor has unique animations for spawning, victory and death.

Costume does not affect any actual weapon cosmetic.

Notes and Trivia

• This costume is Dungeon Defenders 2 incarnation of the Frost Armor from Terraria. Of course, unlike its Terraria counterpart, the armor in DD2 is purely cosmetic.

• Interestingly, this costume contains DD2-unique frozen versions of the Vortex Helmet and Shroomite Headgear as changeable accessories.

• The flavor texts of this costume is jam-packed with Terraria references namely -

1. The main flavor text of this costume is a reference to the recipe need to craft the armor in Terraria.
2. The flavor text of Frost Helmet and Frost Breastplate refers to what Redigit (creator of Terraria) was wearing in Terraria - a combination of Gold Helmet, Frost Breastplate and Frost Leggings, all dyed in Blue Flame and Black dye - prior to getting his very own unique armor.
3. The flavor text of the Frost Leggings refers to a peculiar wording of the tooltip of its Terraria counterpart where unlike all other armors, the Frost Legging increases melee attack speed instead of melee speed. While in actuality, both mean the same.

• The wallpaper depicts The Dryad in Frost Armor wielding the Frostbrand, a weapon from the Drakenfrost weapon set and also a weapon from Terraria.

• With the Yetipelt accessories, the Frost Armor can be considered the second costume to have an existing enemy from the Old One's Army as part of the costume's theme since it's based in the Yeti miniboss. The first being the Goblin Infiltrator Huntress and third - Drakenlord Armor for the Squire.

• The Dryad in Frost Armor was created as a concept all the way back when The Dryad was in development.

• The blessings orb on the Dryad's left hand have an additional ice blue effect mixed with the green when wearing the costume.
