Gems are a premium currency in Dungeon Defenders 2. You can obtain 450 Gems by completing certain Adventures. They cannot be otherwise obtained without purchasing them with real-life currency in the in-game shop, or buying certain DLC's. Gems can be used to purchase Heroes, Shard Packs, cosmetics and other items in the Emporium.
