The map has four crystals to protect as with the original.
In DD1 the challenge for this map was Monsterfest, and this has made a return in DD2 to Bastille, although in the Bastille Incursion you have limited lives AND a single central crystal to protect. Build quickly and fight ferociously is the key to beating the time limit.
