To deal with Cyborcs you will want to use Towers and Blockades since they will not be disabled. Cannons, Ramsters and Poison Dart Towers are particularly effective in these two Chaos tiers. A Tenacity Servo mod can shorten or immunize Defenses against this disable.

Newer players should use Towers and Blockades and avoid using Auras, Traps, and Nodes if Cyborks are present. Advanced players may choose to use a Tenacity Servo or Automation (a Hyper Shard) to prevent their defenses from being disabled. Advanced players commonly put a Tenacity Servo or Automation on a Reflect Beam to reflect the EMP shockwave projectile back, preventing their defenses from being disabled.

Description

The Cybork is the featured Chaos enemy in Chaos 2. It also appears in Chaos 5. It has as much health as an Orc and deals a moderate amount of damage. It carries a large hammer it uses to slam into the ground, sending out an emp shockwave that disables Auras, Traps, and Nodes for 12 seconds.

Strategy

Newer players should use Towers and Blockades and avoid using Auras, Traps, and Nodes if Cyborks are present. Advanced players may choose to use a Tenacity Servo or Automation (a Hyper Shard) to prevent their defenses from being disabled. Advanced players commonly put a Tenacity Servo or Automation on a Reflect Beam to reflect the EMP shockwave projectile back, preventing their defenses from being disabled.

Boss Variant

Thorc The Terrible, the Cybork boss, has a chance of appearing on wave 5 in Chaos 1. He can also appear on Omega Waves (wave 6) in Onslaught. He is physically bigger, deals more damage, and has more health than regular Cyborks. He also disables defenses for 18 seconds rather than 12.
