- Defender Medals are earned from Daily and Weekly Missions and completing maps. The amount given out per map depends on the Gamemode and waves, it is typically 25 per map and for the highest completed onslaught floor if completed and 26 if the map consists of 6 waves.
- Defender Medals launched with the Calling All Heroes patch, replacing the Wyvern Tokens. They are used to buy items from the Treasure Pirate or the War Recruiter.
- Defender Medals has a cap of 2,000 Defender Medals per day that a player can obtain, not including Missions.
- A single account can hold up to 12,000 medals at a time, if a map is completed and a player is at cap then they will not gain any.
