The amount given out per map depends on the Gamemode and waves, it is typically 25 per map and for the highest completed each [[Onslaught|onslaught floor]] if completed , and 26 if the map consists of 6 waves. * Defender Medals launched with the Calling All Heroes patch, replacing the [[Wyvern Tokens]]. They are used to buy items from the Treasure Pirate or [[Colonel]], the War Recruiter[[Non Playable Characters#Black Market Dealer|Black Market Dealer]], and several other [[Non Playable Characters|NPCs]].* Defender Medals has have a cap of 2,000 Defender Medals per day that a player can obtain, not including [[Missions]].
