Variants
Griblok |
---|
Enemy Type : Gobu, Melee, Miniboss. Appearances : Adventures, Onslaught, Expeditions, Incursions and Mastery. |
Griblok
Griblok or Griblok the Razor is a Special Enemy. He is the mini-boss variant of the Goblin. frequently found in the Chaos Expeditions, Onslaught and Incursions maps, and also appears in his own Incursions map on The Gates of Dragonfall called Griblok's Horde. Griblok resembles a tier 3 melee goblin but with dark purple skin and black armor. He behaves similarly to goblins, having a short melee range, but a fast attack speed. Notably, he seems to have a higher than normal resistance to stuns.
In Onslaught, he starts appearing at floor 1, occasionally appearing as a random miniboss of the wave. Though should there be a Timmy's Revenge lane schedule around, he is almost guaranteed to appear there too.
Strategy
Griblok is one of the most basic mini-boss to fight, though he can still become a threat if left to break through your defenses. As usual, Melee Heroes should stay behind him when attacking. As a miniboss he has a very high amount of health.
Griblok will also take more damage from sources equipped with mods such as :
- Anti-Gobu Servo, Anti Melee Servo and Anti-Miniboss Servo for Relics.
- Goblin Chip, Melee Chip and Miniboss Chip for Weapons.
Sub-Variant - Mini-Gribloks
In Chaos I Griblok's Horde Incursions, there will be hordes of Mini-Gribloks appearing along side Mini-Quiblys. These version of Goblins seems to be a little more tougher and ferocious than regular Goblins.
Timmy
Timmy is a "Special" enemy miniboss variant of a goblin. He resembles a tier 3 goblin with the only differences being slightly bigger and has a purplish incorporeal look. He is very notable for having a ridiculously low amount of health as an enemy in general. Takes more damage from the same line of mods that affects Griblok.
In Onslaught, he only appears in Timmy's Revenge and Just Timmy lanes schedules. In the former lane, there will also be tiny blue incorporeal goblins following him.
Pirate Goblin
A regular goblin wearing a pirate's outfit. Nothing unique about this enemy, the differences is purely cosmetic. These goblins mostly appears in The Jacked Sparrow and Plunderer's Paradise of the High Seas region at gamemodes that has these maps available.
In Onslaught, the Pirate Goblins also appears in Dreadbones' Crew lane schedule, alongside the rest of the pirate variants.
