Seas of Dragonfall Part 3
Seas of Dragonfall Part 3 will be the next content update following Seas of Dragonfall Part 2 to finish off the content expansion.[1] This update will presumably contain a new map, pet, weapons and boss. ETA in late 2024 potentially.

- The visuals of the new boss.

Beyond
Due to the ambitious scope and delays for Seas of Dragonfall updates plus the additional work required to upgrade Playverse for DD2's backend, it'll most likely be a while before these gets implemented. [2] However, keep in mind that while these are planned features, they are always subject to change during development and may not end up being implemented after all.
- Pet UI modernization. [3]
- Massive game-wide balance pass and hero rework/overhauls (Huntress' and Apprentice's abilities for example) [4] [5]
- Potential removal of the Drakenlord's bubble mechanic and appearance as a miniboss in Expeditions/early game. The Drakenlord's appearance within Drakenfrost Keep is slated to buffed into a proper boss. [6] [7]
- Addition of the Wyvern's Den incursion map to Expeditions, without the Betsy boss. [8]
- A potential Spooky Harvest Festival Fall Event with a limited farmable pet.
Potential Future Update Themes
Around mid-2023, CG put up a community poll[9] to decide on an update theme after Seas of Dragonfall. The four candidates are:
- Sky City
- Crystalline Dimension
- Carnival/Circus
- Space
It is currently unknown which theme has won the poll.
