Introduced with the Calling All Heroes patch, Defender Medals replaced the previous Wyvern Tokens.
They are used to purchase items from NPCs, upgrading your equipment, and more.

- If a map consists of 6 waves, you'll gain 26 Medals instead of 25.
- End of wave 1 : gain 0 Medals.
- End of wave 2 : gain 1 Medals.

- End of wave 4 : gain 4 Medals.
